L&Q – Diversity Week
CASE STUDY - We were delighted when they approached us to support Diversity Week!
The Challenge
Now in its 4th year Diversity Week at L&Q annually increases in popularity and momentum. Having worked on a number of initiatives to support L&Q – developing a recruitment strategy, an attraction plan and researching/preparing various winning award entries – we were delighted when they approached us to support with Diversity Week:
- To develop a workshop session on behalf of “Inspire” (L&Q’s women’s network) to encourage and enable L&Q staff to develop their personal branding online.
- To capture and create a film for Diversity week that can be used to promote the initiative to new partners, employees and other key stakeholders.
The Solutions
To minimise the cost of the project whilst maximising the benefit we developed a solution that made most effective use of all resources available – including the fantastic team at L&Q. We developed a participative workshop session that would appeal to a wide range of L&Q employees – with differing online confidence and experiences.
Whilst the L&Q team were busy delivering the Personal Brand workshop we set about filming as many of the other exciting Diversity Week sessions we could attend – this ranged from an absorbing (sometimes shocking) talk by the Red Cross about refugees to Salsa dancing to an LGBT walk around Soho sporting a Go Pro. We then selected the best bits, crafted some titles, chose some music and edited it all together.
The Result
We trained 8 of the L&Q team to facilitate the Personal Brand sessions – and it was run 10 times over the week – with over 160 L&Q staff experiencing it.
