Account Executive, Dawson Walker Communications
What attracted you to the role at Dawson Walker?

It was an interesting job role, with plenty of scope for personal and professional growth. I have been wanting to work in a more creative role for a while and this role with Dawson Walker was the perfect fit.

Do you work best alone or on a team?

Definitely a team! I love being involved in a team whether that be in sports, music or work life. I enjoy being able to communicate and bounce ideas off people. My co-workers are a brilliant team to have by my side whilst I navigate this new role. The experiences I have had so far have helped me learn and grow which has given me confidence in my abilities. I really appreciate that everyone has taken the time to teach and support me throughout my Dawson Walker journey.

What have you learned at Dawson Walker so far?

I have learnt a great deal in a short space of time. I have already filled a notebook with new information, step by step guides and lots of keywords and definitions. I have been propelled into the world of employer brand, SEO, storyboards and filming. It has been great fun to see how the team works with our partners and clients around the world. It has become very clear to me that communication and flexibility is key to a successful project.

What are you looking forward to doing in the next 6 months at Dawson Walker?

I am looking forward to getting back into the office a few days a week! I think that will be the perfect work/life balance for me and will be lovely to see the team more in person. I am also looking forward to getting involved in more projects, taking on further responsibilities and hopefully attend some more events.

Something Extra About Me

I love to challenge myself mentally and physically. So, this year I will be participating in the first quarter of the Jurassic Coast Ultra in aid of Epilepsy Action. A big test but hoping the views and race day adrenaline will keep me going. You can donate to my JustGiving page by clicking here.
