Attended by over 150 temperature-controlled transport and logistics professionals and 50 partners from 14 different countries, this year’s Conference and AGM was hosted at the Royal Garden Hotel in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It was agreed that this superb venue, which enjoys delightful views across Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, was seen by all as the ideal location for the conference.
The grand finale on the Friday evening was the gala dinner, held at Shakespeare’s famous Globe Theatre in the amazing Underglobe. Guests were treated to an evening of fine dining and dancing to the quintessentially British sounds of the ‘Beatles’ who had everyone up on their feet! En route the delegates took a leisurely boat trip down the River Thames along the South Bank to the Globe. The Partners’ programme, in addition to the shopping experiences, offered a number of exciting activities including a visit to the magnificent Victoria & Albert museum and a spin on the iconic London Eye.
