An employer brand film for DSV

Find out about DSV's recruitment challenges and how Dawson Walker created DSV’s employer brand film which led to an increase in recruitment.
The Challenge:
DSV provides and manages supply chain solutions for thousands of companies every day. It is the world's 5th largest transport and logistics company. Along with the rest of their industry they face well reported recruitment challenges – particularly drivers and warehouse operatives. Until recently they had relied on recruitment agencies to fulfil their needs; now they have decided to take control and attract talented individuals to join them directly.
The Solution:
To bring to life what a great employer DSV is, they asked us to produce an employer brand film. We recommended a family of films that could be used across social media and their website. The team visited one of their large warehouses for a recce,
and were able to meet some great people and had a look round this vast facility. It helped us plan a day of filming that would include interviews with 5 employees, drone filming and capturing lots of other footage of the environment.
The British weather forced us to make some last minute changes to our schedule – but eventually the sun shone. We maximised the time and resource available and of course followed DSV’s H&S policies.
The Result:
We’ve produced one 3.5 minute compilation film that includes excerpts from all the interviews as well as 11 shorter micro-moments for DSV.
